Sing For Care in Clarenville was a rousing success.  Many, Many thanks to the volunteers who put in so much effort to make the day special.  Particular thanks to the 4 music educators without whom this would not have been a reality.
Charlene Woolfrey-Sawler, Les Ms. member Lisa Drover, Michelle Bennett, Anne Lundrigan. For many years they were a team, teaching the music education program as a continuum from Kindergarten to Level III

We are so grateful and amazed!  Thank you to all the wonderful choirs who made Sing for Care 2016 so spectacular, and thank you to you, our public and supporters, who helped us raise more than $14,000 for the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation Patient and Family Support Fund.  You Truly Do Make The Difference!
Through your attendance and support we have been able to raise more than $133,000 over the 11 years of our concerts.
All proceeds go to support the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Center Patients and Families Travel Support Fund.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
For helping us support families battling cancer.

A message from the Cancer Care Foundation

“Funds raised from Les Ms. and Friends Sing for Care are in support of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation’s Patient and Family Support Fund which supports financially challenged cancer patients who require assistance with treatment-related expenses such as travel, meals, accommodations and the purchase of prostheses.  From 2008-2013, the Foundation disbursed over $684,200 to 2,700 cancer patients and their families in Newfoundland and Labrador.

It’s because of generous donors such as Les Ms that we are able to provide this level of support.

The Cancer Care Foundation is grateful to be associated with such a wonderful group who does so much for the community.”
